Mr. O'Shah is the Health and Safety Inspector at Death, Inc., and a supporting character and NPC in Have a Nice Death.

Mr. O'Shah provides the player with a choice of different bonuses, called Curses, that affect gameplay in a variety of ways. He has the chance to spawn on any floor, excluding the Relaxation Area, Control Room, and Shop, and is guaranteed to spawn after defeating a Sorrow or Thanager.

Tony O'Shah has never smiled once in his whole life. And he's not about to start now. Well okay, he does smile sometimes, but only on those rare occasions when his natural cynicism bears witness to the irony of a truly scathing situation. Like when a colleague finds themself locked in a copy room for days.

Nobody knows exactly how Mr. O'Shah ended up as the Health and Safety Inspector at Death, Inc. Even Death himself seems to dodge the question. He always gives the same non-committal reply: "Just like everyone else here, Death requires a resume. And I just love finding one that's chock-full of mistakes. It makes my job particularly interesting. Especially when it becomes even more unpleasant for the person I'm investigating."

Anyone consulting Mr. O'Shah about a concern or a request regarding the Health and Safety department should be very careful... If he turns to you with a menacing smile on his face and a glint in his eye, despite the darkness of his coffin, you'll know he's on to you. Or he's about to send you back to the land of the living at a particularly dark point in history. Like when Eurodance was popular.

Appearance

Mr. O'Shah is a corpse with light grey skin and white eyes. He seems to be permanently stuck inside his coffin, and is unable to exit it. He is often seen carrying a book and flipping through its pages. When spawning in an area to offer the player a Curse, he materializes in a flash of green light, and leaves by falling back into his coffin and into the ground.
